From 10 to 21 November, Belém, Brazil, will host the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) — the global decision-making body of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UN Climate Change). Key expectations include the presentation of new national climate action plans (NDCs), progress on the finance roadmap from COP29, and discussions on scaling up innovative climate finance mechanisms. The conference will also feature the COP30 Action Agenda, a programme designed to engage businesses, civil society, and various levels of government in practical climate solutions.
